Cooper Zeon Tires [Archive]

Anyone out there have Zeon 2XS, ZPT or XST on their car. I am having my 85 el Camino worked on right now including front end, rear end etc. and wanted to install some wider tires. The shop doing the major work recommends not to put low profile tires on cause the ride would be to rough.

Whats your input?

Yes, there is a little more rough ride with lower profile tires. It is not terrible. The benefits outweigh the minor ride change.

Handling and braking. If you are going wider in the rear and depending on what is on there now it may even hook better.
