Anyone have a way to get BIG brakes on the front of an 85 Elky?

This cust has an 85 hes putting 20's on ( yea I said the same thing ) I need to find a cost effective way to put big clampers on it
so the brakes dont look retarted behind those monster wheels.

Thanks Ken f

Do a search of the site here, I seem to remember that there is an S-10 Spindle that easily adapts big brakes to a g-body. Also, there is the ATS spindle, accepts all C-5 or C-6 brakes.

Go to my site - I have an 81 G-body with Wilwood 6-piston/13 x 1.25" vented rotors on the front, and Wilwood 4-piston/12.4 x .81" vented rotors on the rear. Master Power combo valve and master cylinder for 4-wheel discs rounds it out.

Get 98 - 02 S10 Blazer knuckle assemblies, make an adapter bracket to mount the Vette C5 13" caliper & use the same Vette 13" rotor.

I am looking for a CHEAP way to do it and G/W is anything but cheap

this customer does not want anything he cant remove for a different car if he should sell it.

On the other hand its gonna look retarted with 10 inch brakes behind 20 inch wheels

IMO it will look retarted with 20's

I agree it will look retarded with 20s on it. 17, maybe 18, is the limit in my book.

I'm selling my brand new never used brake setup from my 87 Grand National if interested. It's a 13" Baer setup with drilled/slotted/ zinc plated rotors, B-body spindles painted por 15 gloss black, and everything else needed for the install. Oh ity's also got the pricey red and silver powdercoat option. You just need to get an upper control arm that accepts a B-body spindle. I installed this stuff but never ran it, infact i never even ran the brake lines. email me direct at [email protected] if interested. I have decided to move to a larger brake setup kuz im stupid like that. :bananna2: BTW I have pics of the brakes posted in the newbie section
