Pewter 1st Gen Camaro, Anyone?

Does anyone have pictures of or own a pewter colored 1st gen camaro? I'm at the point of deciding on color(s) for my 69 camaro. Thought pewter would be a difference than using silver.

I dont have the pictures....but there is a 68 out here in AZ....with GM Pewter and Black rally stripes, looks very nice...I would recommend the color for sure...it give it a retro/new look for sure.

I don’t have time to look right now, but I think there were a few colors close to that. Maybe you can find shots of cars in a very similar color. Browse CRG and Team Camaro.

I have a pic of a 69 that is pewter, But my computer got zapped when the power went out two nights ago. Thing won,t power up. I am on my old win 98 bare bones till i get it fixed. I will post when i do.

Here is mine. It isnt really pewter but maybe it will help. Please excuse the tape around the doors. I work in a little one car garage so I had them covered in hopes of not dinging the edge. I need a bigger place! I wasnt sure I would like the color after I first sprayed it but now that it is almost together, I really like it. Best of luck with your choice!

I you want a really good looking charcoal color, Mitsubishi (spelling) has a REALLY nice color from their 02' lineup. My wife's Eclipse is this color and I love it.

I've seen one in the GM pewter color and it actually looks pretty awesome. I wouldnt have ever thought it until I saw it with my own two.

I say go for it. I think the one I saw even had a small red/maroon pinstripe accent. looks really good. sorry no pics

Here is a nice Pewter/Charcoal Grey

I know when we were looking for pewter or charcoal or metalic grey's ...they all had a shade of something to them ...be it green, blue or brown. We picked that one because it looked true and simple, justa dark charcoal grey metalic. Color also looks good with the flat black hood stripe and tail panel.

Here's one I found from ebay a couple of weeks ago. It seems to be a lighter.
