      bodyshop people help!

allright, looking at an 96 impy SS. 88K car, light hit in rear quarter, can get it for about 5k off bluebook. in pretty nice shape otherwise. Roughly how much would this be to fix? is it even remotely possible a paintless dent removal place would be able to make it look better. Thinking about just buying and driving as is. Anybody?? Thanks!

Do not know on the body, you could drive it that way, but its always weird having a dent. Anyway, as far as buying it if they are as hard to find where you are as they are around here, get all over it. If you do own it, and dont want to keep the stock wheels, let me know, I am lookin.

that is beyond paintless dent repair. You could probably get at part of it through the trunk and push it out a little by hand but it'll still be just as ugly... just not as deep.

That is way too mangled for PDR.
You could get someone good with mud to fix it and paint it for about $1500, if there is no damage to the inner fenderwell.

$5K off bluebook doesn't sound too good for a car that needs uphostery work, and hit like that. You could probably buy a nice one for a grand or two off bluebook, and eliminate the headache.

good point, however i've got the cash to buy this and can fix it as money allows. I really don't want a loan and since my truck is fubar'd and my car is on it's last leg i've got to get into something quick.

anyways i got an rust free 88k mile car for $6,800 with brand new tires. gotta score some cheap seats and then off to the bodyshop.

      Thanks for the help guys!
