Chevelle body mount instructions (Energy Suspension)

      Hi,

I'm in the process of test fitting the body on the frame of my 68 Chevelle.
the Energy Suspension body bushings are there, the stainless bolt kit is there but guess what?? the instrucions are gone

Anyone have some instructions laying around that they would be so kind to scan for me?

      thanks!

My instructions are long gone; what I remember of them was just a diagram of where the body mounts on the car were and a note that if your car was a hardtop to only bolt through one of the mounts at the cowl, not both.

Were you needing a diagram of the mount points, or something else?

      I found out I think..
is it normal that there are two "spares" ??
are there supposed to be steel sleeves inside the bushings? I have none.

      I have the following mounts
      2x radiator support
      2x under the cowl
      2x under the doors
2x in front of the rear wheels
      2x behind the rear wheels
2x at the far rear of the frame
      2x in my hands!??!

      thanks!

      Hi,

Energy suspension finally got back to me with a set of instructions (after three emails) and I am supposed to re-use the old sleeves.
the two extra bushing are supposed to be used on the rear spring pockets, which is a part of the frame that I have cut off.

      thanks for all replyes

I went to the garage and the sleeves I have doesnt fit the bushings.....
it looks like the old bushings were wrong as the sleeves were bigger than the bolts.
anyone know who sells just the sleeves or do I have to get a new set of body bushings with sleeves?

      thanks!

They sell the bushings either way. With the sleeves or without. A cheap repro set of mounts, to get the sleeves, may be cheaper than another set from Energy. FRANK

Has anyone had any problems with the fit of the energy suspension bushings?

      Hi Bowtie65,

there are no problems with the fitment of them, the bushings are very nice.
my only problem is that E.S. do not supply the steel sleeves and that mine were shot so I had to buy a complete setup of rubber bushings to "steal" the sleeves from.
