DSE firewall plate
Ok i have tacked the plate on and it looks like the pics on the website of the projects they are doing. Problem is what is next. keep welding and make it all one weld, or put seam sealer over then prime. I never see any pics between the spot weld every 1/2 inch pic to the its primed or painted pic.I did por the back side of the block off and put liquid nails as a insulator so it can't vibrate.

Weld away young man! Then grind smooth, apply the filler of your choice, sand, prime, and paint.
The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few.
