Allright out there..Iam mini tubbing a 55 belair and iam looking for the widest tire for it. I know that a 295/50/15 will work but would like to go a tad wider...I did find a 315/35/17...but they are a little short for my taste..(sorry i know most pro-touring cars run a lower profile tire but my customer is a little bit old school)...I would like to find something like 13" section width and maybe 27" tall...I did see a 295/50/16...would prefer a 16" dia. wheel...Anyone seen something like this or have any ideas??? Thanks for any help Bret

Looks like BFG has the 295/50/16 size you're after, in the Radial T/A lineup:

I don't think there's much else out there in big 16" stuff any more.
