Has anyone ever done or heard of doing a front end swap to make a 72 camaro look like it has the front end of a 69 camaro? Just wondering if it's ever been done.

None of the body lines would line up.

An S-load of time and money would get it to work. You could probably take the front 6-8 inches of a gen1 and reshape it (a ton) to get it to match up. Though, I don't know if it would be an improvement on a gen2. :dunno:

Anything is possible if you have the time and some bushel baskets with $100 bills in them. I'd photo chop it first does'nt very appealing to me though. Maybe a copy of a rs headlight conversion would look kinda cool.

I'm still waiting for any replys on what people have done to modify the front bumper and valance for aero effects on my 69. Point is, you have to put on a front spoiler/dam to improve down force, but this increases drag. That improves road course handling but hurts top end. 2nd gen has better aero effects, so people don't normally go worse on performace for LOOKS sake, or else you might want to try another web site. This site tends to focus on improved performance changes.
