Anyone know if a set of 17x9.5 and 17x11 wheels for a LS1 f-body will fit a 68-72 a-body?

They *might* fit with spacers; the offset is way off for them to fit without them.
Not sure you'll fit an 11" wide wheel under an A-body regardless without narrowing the frame rails though.

A 17x9.5 and a 17x11 will fit under a 68-72 Chevelle or El Camino if the backspacing is correct.

-Jason They'll fit fine. I have them on my '70 El Camino. You'll need 1" wheel adapters with the correct offset wheels. There are different offsets so you have to make sure you get the correct ones. Measure, measure, measure!

There is 13+" (varies from car-to-car, but usually ranges 13 - 13.25") of space in the rear of a 68-72 A-body, and a 315/35/17 runs about 12.5" wide, so it will fit, but it's damn tight.
Backspace *should* be around 5.5" in front and 6.25 in rear for 9.5 and 11" wheels, but brakes, spindles, etc will have an effect, so measure carefully!
