what should be about the right timing for this block?

• .050 Duration: 234° Intake; 244° Exhaust
• Advertised Duration: 300° Intake; 310° Exhaust
• Cam Lift: .325 Intake; .340 Exhaust
• Valve Lift: .488 Intake; .510 Exhaust
• Lobe Center: 107° Intake; 117° Exhaust

• Forged steel crankshaft
• 10.3:1 compression ratio
• High performance rod bolts and nuts
• High rev lifters and performance valve
springs with retainers
• High volume oil pump
• Double roller timing set
• Flat top hypereutectic pistons and moly rings
• Harmonic balancer
• Screw in rocker studs

You'll kinda have to play with it. I'd baseline like this:

With that much overlap you're doing okay with pressure down low, so find a curve that starts you about 20* at idle and moderately fast advance to total at about 38-40* at 2500rpm.

Play with it like that and see how it reacts.

Play with it like that and see how it reacts.Sounds about right. Based on the heads maybe start at 18* and go to 20* if it operates fine.
