      Aftermarket rear spoiler?

      Hey guys,

Is anyone aware of a rear spoiler for a first gen that is about an inch taller than the stock first gen spoiler?

      Thanks,

      Just do it yourself!

Step one get stock height spoiler
Step two apply giant goup of bondo to the top
Step three sand until it looks good!

      And whalaa custom spoilerness

Oh and just to add to the thread I had been thinking about one 1" or so shorter, with the center section bonded to the trunk lid and the ends still free, I think it would look sliiick.

Years ago I made a new base that was 1 1/2 inches taller upon which I bolted a stock spoiler. The base was contoured to fit and accent the stock spoiler contours. It worked GREAT!

Spoiler base was mocked up using balsa wood and bondo. Made a mold and made a fiberglass base. Spoiler mounted to base with stock mounting bolts and base mounted to trunklid using stock holes in trunk lid.

This was easy to do and looked great! I cannot find any pictures of the base and the mold is long gone. Sounds like a nice new project for someone!
