What is the widest combo can I get on the rear of the car and what size tire. I want to run 17s with a lip pn the wheels... Examples would be great....

There is a chart you can follow that shows max wheel size for front and rear.

Also go to stangnet.com and do search for a user (iskwezm) there is a couple guys running 275/40/17 BFG on 17x9 with 5" back space.
