Hey Guys, Im looking to hook up extra reverse lights for my fullsize truck and I need some help with the wiring.Wanting to have extra lights but working with a 3 postion switch(on-off-on).
First postion will be triggered by factory reverse lights,
Sec. will be off and third will be constant on.
Ive got all the wiring and relay and switch just having trouble figuring out how to wire. I'd also like to wire in a indicator light to show when lights are on in the 2 positions. Call me an idiot but this is my first time wiring a relay.
:yeah: :yeah:
Thanks in advance,
Chris

Would it help If I told you that the wiring diagram is on the side of the relay?

relay is used like this
30 goes to fused battery or fused keypower
87 goes to what you want to power when the relay is activated
87a goes to what you want powered when the realy is NOT activated (If you need this it can be usefull)
84 goes to ground
85 goes to your switch or whatever you want to activate the relay with, Togle or reverse lights

The rest of it I can not find a way to put it simply enough
unless you know what a diode is.or you can use 2 relays
