Need a bumper mods and chroming

Does anyone have any ideas where I can send my front and rear bumpers to get smoothed and rechromed. Or better yet, does anyone already make these to sell outright?

By smoothing I mean to remove the grommits, cover and replate.

For those bumpers you will need to weld the bolts into the holes yourself or have someone do it, and do not grind the welds at all. We do not make smoothies here but we will clean them up if you send one in with the bolts already welded into the holes. To chrome plate them they will be appx $850 per bumper. I need to see the grill insert, but if it's true billet then it will be about $550, the headlights are about $125 each and the tail lights are about $150 each.
Forgot to add, turnaround time is about 12 weeks.

I paid 1500 for my bumpers to be chromed and blind mount the bolts and fill in some holes for my chevelle. All work was done by Sherms plating in CA

yeah Jason, The EPA restrictions on these shops has the prices of this type of work going out the roof. I'll check with my guy.
But yes it is advisable for you to weld the holes up after it is mocked up to the car it is going on.

Jason,

If you decide to weld it yourself then sink the bumper bolts down a 1/32" after the bumper bolt head is cut off and then weld it on. The problem is most people weld the bumper bolt flush, and the chrome shop ends up having problems of bolts coming back up through the chrome. Be sure it is NOS chrome and not a reproduction bumper.

It seem like this would be a good business to go into because I have found no one with ready made bumpers that have already had this process done.

Three months turn around time seems a little excessive to me too.
