Got bored, cooked up a new interior idea...thoughts?

I've got two plans- a mild one and a wild one. Both revolve around procar rally's:

I think they are awesome looking, kinda modern/retro mixed, and had the chance to sit in a set and it was a whole different world compared to my stockers.

BUT- they only come in black and white, and my interior is dark carmine red.

So, option one is simply to get them recovered in dark carmine vinyl. This would be the mild option.

The wild option...I've had this idea brewing in the back of my head for some time.

Call me crazy, but I've been trying to think of some way to connect my carmine interior more with my cameo exterior. Right now it's just a white bird with random red interior. I'm not sold on the idea, it's still brewing. I can't decide if it would look better to try and match the cameo, or just go with a real bright white. I also thought about doing a vinyl/suede combo, probably with the inside of the bolsters red. I plan to build a custom console, and one of the pattern ideas is represented on the stock console in that pic. It would involve the new front seats, too, but in the same pattern. If I went this route, I'd Probably redo the door panels to match, too.

      Whatchu guys think?

i say do the wild idea.. i love when the interior is tied in with the exteriors looks..

but i would say do it reversed.. make the seats white.. and the insert red

then since the carpet is red do the center console white and dash white with red accents..

i know it seems wild but hell ive seen it done in old caddys and its pretty sick

Hahaha I don't think I do like it...It's too much. Very 50's caddy, I agree, but not 70's firebird.
