Just thought Id post a couple of pics of my new wheels. they are coys C-5 grey I really like the way they look. even better in person. I bought them from a new speed shop here in Indy. It just open this week and they had them in stock.Paradise Road rod & custom. Real nice guys to deal with and got them at the same price you pay from coys. I know the net is a get tool but its nice to be able to just go pay for somthing and pick them up the same day.well enough with my rambling hope you like them.

Nice looking wheels! I've checked those out before and I really liked them. If you don't mind me asking, what'd they get for them?

They are going on a 62 impala 20s rear and 18s front. I think they are very reasonable for and 18/20 combo 1000.00

tbair - Are you running any kind of a dropped spindle or a stock spindle? I am ready to order wheels for my '58 Impala and am having difficulty with anything close to a 4" backspace. The wheel appears that it is going to hit the tie rod end.:banghead: I want to run an 8" wheel with a 245/40ZR18 tire. If you don't mind, what backspacing did you go with on front and rear and what size tires are you going with?

Thanks,
Mark

tbair - Are you running stock or dropped spindles? I am thinking I may need to go back to my stock spindle. I currently have a set of CPP 2" dropped spindles and with my WheelRite, I am going to hit the tie rod portion of the spindle. Sorry to be a pest, just don't want to screw this up!!

Can we get some daylight pics? The grey is pretty dark isn't it? Similar to the charcoal on some tuner wheels? I've been driving myself crazy trying to decide if I want to paint the spokes of my TT2s a really dark grey (almost black or gunmetal) for a light silver car, but I just can't seem to pull the trigger!!! :dunno:

What color is the car?

Thanks
Robb

tbair - Thanks for all your help!!! I am going to borrow a wheel and tire from a friend before I order anything, but the information you provided has certainly helped. And I don't think I mentioned it earlier, love the wheels. I am envisioning the color, wheels and the car, and that is going to look terrific. Anyways, thanks again.

Nice. Is the "Coys" emblem a sticker that you peeled of the center cap? The emblem is the only thing I don't really like about these wheels otherwise they are top notch!

Cool wheels.... I just wish they made a straight spoke version and that they actually had more brake clearance !! Id' be all over that for a street wheel.
