Trouble installing DSE mini tubs.. HELP!!!

Yes, you have to relocate the shocks.

Yes, you will probably want to at least use offset shackles for the leafs to make use of the new tubs..

..Which means, No, you can't use the stock tank.

Use their 4 link and you can use your stock tank. Get the upper shock mount. They also sell new spring mounts for the rearend if you use offset schackles. You will also have to narrow your rearend approx. 2-3" to get the right backspace on your wheels. Kyle told me the most important part was to upgrade the springs also.

my body guy is having a hard time figuring out the proper avenue on how to get past:

1. if we have to relocate shocks.. because it we cut out the fenders the shocks normal bolt point will be gone.
2. if we have to relocate leaf springs
3. can we run stock tailpipes.
4. if it can run stock gas tank.. because if we relocate the leafs it will get close to the tank.. no clearance..

i just got the tubs and i know i need to get some other parts.

what all do i need to complete it?

I learned about these little details the hard way. After I decided to mini-tub my project, the learning curve went vertical and the finances went WAY SOUTH. It ended up costing much more than I'd imagined in the begining.

The 335 series tire on the back makes up for the cost many times over though.

After it's all said and done you can probably get an axle in the exact length you need from Moser, Chris Alstons, Mark Williams(Pricey), Currie, etc., for just a bit more than you'd spend to modify a stock rear. You would also have an entirely new, clean, straight, and surely stronger unit to put in the car.

dse will also sell you an axel ready to go for leafs or the qudralink.
