Had a severely pitted & scratched windshield that was leaking in my dad's 63 Nova. We got a new gasket from A&M Sofseal & put a new windshield in it. It is still leaking. Looks like water is coming between the window & the gasket. The body is perfect, no rust or anything so we know it isn't that. anybody else know what we can do?

What about silicone sealant. Its only a guess but thats what I would do if it didnt seal properly.
Did you install the window or a windshield company? If someone else installed it there should be a warranty or at least some customer service that will make sure its not leaking.

It was installed by a glass shop. We used an A&M Soffseal gasket. I emailed A&M to see what they said. I'm hoping they are at the Goodguy's show at indy this weekend so they can actually look at it. We thought about the silicone but figured that would be a big mess. We may have to end up going that route though.

If a glass shop installed the windshield they should warranty their install. THEY should silicone or caulk it. Whatever it takes to prevent the windshield from leaking since they did the install.

I believe there is supposed to be a sealer (non-harden caulk) that goes in the rubber channel along with the window. As a matter of fact I think it also goes between body and rubber seal.
