I am redoing my control arms, having them stripped and powdercoated and all new poly bushings. My question ishow does everyone feel about powder coating them yellow?? I am torn between yellow or gray but my subframe is gray so AI dont want tit to look to washed out Opinions??any other color suggestions??

Well this is just my opinion, but i would not have them yellow. I would think that would be the last thing I would want to do. but that is what makes the world go around. I like everything to blend, but you may hate that, and you are free to.

Gray or Black, IMO Yellow would be last color to use

Gray to match or black to stand out. Yellow would wash them out with the car. I say Black!

Gotta tell you, I just painted some backing plated 'hammered gray'. Looks kind of cool. I wish my frame was that color. Arms would look good too. I think you can get power that color too.

I would really have to think on that. Body color of your car might look pretty cool.

My Camaro's control arms...
They're painted....
They're yellow...
I hope that driving it won't get them dirty
Driving it wont get them dirty
Driving it wont get them dirty
Driving it wont get them dirty

Yellow is a cool color but if you overdo it you will be known as "the bee camaro".There is a local guy who went overboard with black and yellow, he did his hoses yellow and the interior black and yellow stripes. It hurts to look at.

I think I am going gray, yellow might look cool, but if not its a lot of work to redo.

i personally paint everything with etch primer and finish with GM/Opel rally matt urethane.. it has an eggshell/silk-matte finish and looks really sharp once you have everything else installed using satinless or plated bolts... or you could get the same look just applying PPG DP90 epoxy primer.. but i am biased towards using primer and topcoat.
but yellow?:barf:

The correct answer is WHITE. Nothing cooler so long as you have some one to clean it for you.
