      what size steering wheel?

I picked up a 13.5" steering wheel and it does not look right to my taste. Kind of looks smal. What is a good size steering wheel for 67Camaro.
      Thanks

I keep having the same thought simply because I want to see my gauges better and also I have 12:1 steering now with the Corvette rack i chose and a small wheel could be a bit touchy with the 13.5 wheel I have. I have seen some 14'' wheels and a couple of 15" wheels but nothing I really like. So the search goes on.

I may wait to look and see if it really is a problem but I understand exactly what you are thinking.

If you are running the stock steering gear box. I would suggest(This is only my opinion) staying with the one you bought or smaller. The reason is, I almost lost mine one day with the factory wheel when I got on it a little to hard. It was like steering with a wagon wheel, I ran out of arms trying to keep up with it and keep it out of the ditch. LOL

I have the iroc steering box. I beleive it is 12.5 to 1. So with 13.5" steering wheel it will be litle touchy that's the other reason I like to get a litle bigger one. Momo's are 14.0" but it's a litle expensive versus Grant wheel I just bought which I like the style. Other opten would be to get a LeCaraia wheel which they come in 14.0 and 14.5" but I dont like the style.
      Oh well let see.

Lecarra or MOMO. Most Lecarra models are 14.5", and most MOMO's are 13.8" (350mm) to me that is the perfect size range.

I run a 13.5" Grant Evoloution GT and it works well with 12:1 Steering. It is also good for seeing the gauges. Remember that gauge view is more a function of spoke design and layout than overall diameter.

Unfortunately, not true with a dakota digital dash. I have a 13.5, and I could use a 15 inch wheel to help see both the tach and the speedo!
Can't find anything I like, and I'm afraid I would'nt like the bigger wheel on the road course.

      That picture is classic

I had a quick ratio box (2 3/4 turns lock to lock) on my '68 with a 13" wheel. I would not call the steering touchy at all. It had a nice look, and didn't seem out of place. I was quite happy with how it drove.

I now have a 13.8" Momo fighter wheel in the car. I have yet to drive the car with it, but it looks and feels great.

I like to feel like I'm driving a performance car, not a bus. Let me see if I can dig up a pic of my wheel.
