Hello,
I'm a newbie here on the pt forum with a 67 GT Mustang fastback that I first built as a street/strip car; after breaking parts and beating on the car, I decided that it was time to change themes: to a pro touring car.

I'm looking at replacing the current 14" magnum 500's with Foose Classic Nitrous Thrust 2 pc wheels. Only problem is they only come in 8" and 10" wide. I know guys have put 9.5" wide on the back but have never heard of anyone with a 10" wide. I'm thinking of running 235/40/17's in the front, and 275/40/17's in the back in a BF Goodrich G Force Sport Tire.

Are there any tips/tricks for measuring the correct backspacing? I realize that once I get them I'm stuck with them, so I really need to make sure I measure properly. The only thing that I can think might get in the way are my slide a links?

Where are guys getting these wheels from now? I see Newstalgia had them but no longer offer them due to the extensive waiting periods... I'm in Vancouver Canada and MHT told me KX Wheels, only problem is they won't work with me on tire sizes. They said once they bring in a tire it can't be returned... I was hoping to get a front and a back and test fit it first, then measure, then order.... They dont' seem to be helping.

Thanks for the help
Tom
