This definitly applies to my bb 67 camaro that is pretty much just a track car now with a license plate, but will probably drift over to my 69 camaro that is still more street car.
I'm waiting for a new improved front brake setup from precision brakes to replace my 4 piston dynalite setup (same setup was on the 69). I currently have the bigger 11 inch drums on both cars and with the new 6 piston superlites on the heavier 69, it seems to stop pretty darn good. I've got 3 questions I'm looking for input on.
1. I'm wondering if there are some folks who have had similar setups and changed over to rear disc and how much of an improvment it made, and if there was an issue getting the brakes dialed in on an ongoing basis. 2. Can the dynalites be used for rear disc on either car (the 67 pkg was used with dropped spindles)-I'm not sure I would need an ebrake setup on the 67 track car? 3. How much of an improvement might I see with the hydrabost setup over my existing power setup? (both cars have to run an electric vacume pump for power brakes and I HATE the noise).
If there are some folks with experience on any of these 3 issues, I'd love to hear some feedback. Thx!
