Help
Does anyone out there know if I can bolt on B-car spindles to a 67 Bel Air/Impala wagon?
I am interested in changing it to front disc brakes, and I have a complete front B-car set-up with 1LE rotors.
The wagon is 5 on 4 3/4.
Any one know if this will work or have any low cost ideas for front brakes?

We have a '68 Impala in the family, they were almost identical in the suspension '65-'68, and I can guarantee you that the later b-spindle sway won't work;
-Different tapers on the balljoints and tierods
-Lower balljoint stud points down on '67, up on later b-spindle
-rear-steer '67, front-steeer '77-96.

For cheap solutions, there are the "standard" ones, if possible buy original discs for the car, and fab some brackets to mount calipers on. Or use the drum hubs, and upgrade to 12" LS1 discs and calipers. There are lots of possibilities, it depends on how technically inclined you are, or if you know someone you'd trust enough to make such important parts.
