Aftermarket 69 Camaro Body Parts

Would anybody know what brand Ricks first generation sells
in a front fender for around $300 Bucks? I have had it out of the box for months . it says made in Tiawan . The fit is terrible? :banghead:
I used the factory one on the other side and it fits like a glove?
Has anybody had this problem? Do I need to drop the seven hundred for one that fits correct?

You know, years ago I had two NOS 67 Camaro fenders that would not line up to save my life. I tried everything short of welding. I went and bought two re-pros and they fit like gloves! I was shocked. I still prefer NOS stuff but I cannot say that all of the re-pro stuff is bad. Best of luck, I know sheet metal alignment is tough!

Guess I'll be spending the loot. I'm not having it painted till the winter so I can get the bugs out this year. I am wondering if the fender is a good mark ?? If so Well ......... all the aftermaket sheet metal has been a dissapointment! Building it to beat it anyhow. :drive2: Thanks

You can make it fit, But it is alot of work. Some of goodmarks stuff it pretty good, Others are horrible. But there is ways of makeing it work.

It realy dosen't matter who you buy it from there are only a few places that make all the sheet metal. It's all made over sea's. There are different grades of sheet metal like A B C D and so on. As for NOS stuff it depends when it was made. If it was made in the 60's or 70's than it seems to line up better the than if it is from the 80's and on. Plus also depends on how many people had it over the years and if it went though any shipping or bad storage. Plus make sure that the side of the car that you are trying to put it on has not been hit. Just some thing to think about.
