Just trying to decide.:hmm: A buddy that has helped me on my car, ALOT has been bugging me to do a single turbo setup. Also, he has found a set of upgraded t-3's that would bolt on to what I have with very minimal mods and make about 100-150 more rwhp than what I have now. Soooo, should I go and totaly redo my setup and make new headers and tubing along with a big single or just upgrade to the better turbo's quickly and easily. Or keep what I got and be happy?:nopity: LOL!
If I do either of the first two choices, what do you think my twin setup would be worth? Headers (coated), turbo's, downpipes (coated) and exhaust, maybe even intercooler, BOV and tubing? Obviously very tried and true!
Or what is a set of good rebuilt t-3's worth? .60/.63 A/R
Thanks:3gears:

LOL Jimmy,
I read this a day or two ago, but I am clueless about what used turbos are worth. I am sure previous use could greatly effect prices.
Anyway, that is why I did not respond, I just could not say anything that would help.

take the easy route....that's what I would do (should have done), less down time.....
Don't know about prices though.

Well too slow like usual! I missed them. They only lasted a day! Sold for (I think) $750 for the pair. Guess I will keep what I got until something else comes up!:nopity: Poor pittiful me!! LOL!

Doing the power tour again? I remember you from 2000. Kewl car and twin turbo is cool but single turbo makes some serious power.

Thanks. No I will not be doing the PT this year. Don't want to drive 22 hours to start the PT and then drive for a week and then drive (prolly) 30+ hours home after! I may go to Goodguys in Indy or something like that, but prolly in the 58 Nomad.
What did you have in 2000? Where did I meet you?

I drove a 4th gen Red Camaro Z/28 and if I remember it was proabably at Comp Cams. Didnt your car loose a driveshaft or tranny on their dyno?

Aahhh!! LOL!:hammer: Before the turbos! Yup, it was me that lost a driveshaft on the Comp Cams dyno, at 6200rpm with a wheelspeed of 170mph (2.73 gear) AND in front of ALOT of people! DOOOH!! Driveshaft twisted (for some reason:dunno: ) and proceeded to take out the transmission, converter and tunnel and hurt the rearend also!:box: Every year since, on the PT, people ask me "you gonna' put it on the dyno this year!??!" I just tell them, no not this far away from home!
