I think you need the drum brake hubs

yes on a first gen there is no hub to hold the bearing it is a one peice with the rotor.. you need to use the drum hub b/c thats what has the bearings and studs when using the ls1 rotors....i think however you can use the spindles

68Rallysport:
I just went through this whole conversion. Do yourself a favor and contact Tobin at www.kore3.com (http://www.kore3.com) or Noel at www.touringclassics.com (http://www.touringclassics.com) (site sponsor at right).
Both make everything you need and in the long run you will be about the same price but much happier and much safer.

Brickyard- Suppose it depends on what you are looking for. Kore3 makes nice stuff, but I can not see spending $275ish for aluminum hubs when you can make your own. There is less weight to the aluminum hub, but no difference in functionality IMO.
Unless you were looking at all new prices I am not sure how buying from Kore3 would be cheaper than fabrication the conversion pieces yourself- I just did mine for under $250 for everything. Plus, there are the wheel size issues with the C5 13" rotors.
