In south Florida: Can't find a shop or body person.

I just got done calling about 12 places that said they do restoration. All of them said they no longer do it because it is too expensive for them and the client. Live in Miami, anybody got any ideas. Thanks for the help.

I'm in Miami as well and got burned bad by a shop in Pompano, which later moved to Rockledge Florida.

Frank(ProdigyCustoms) at Prodigy Customs saved me from them. He's in Orlando.

Check him out if thats close enough.

Shop looks great, Camaro looks even better, really coming together nice, that grey silver is eye catching. My car looks really straight from about 8" up, rust in all the usual places, little bit on the quarters down low and by front fenders and door gap. Can't tell from about 15 feet away. Is it possible to get a quote from down here, I could e-mail you pics if that helps. Thanks

      Hey Kevin,
Thanks for the Prodigy Customs hook up. Just got off the phone with them and Frank is a really nice guy and seems knowledgable and reasonably priced. Probably gonna try and see some of his work in person. Thanks again.

I think Kevin may want to Harbor the shop name in Rockledge as a secret. By the way, this weekend, were repainting the Rockledge shops work.

Supposedly there is this shop in Rockledge that did a restoration on a lady we know 64 skylark vert, they took her for something like 17K or some outrageous some of money, took the car apart painted/restored the frame did some body work, didn't put the car back together and told her there done! what I understand is the car's in pieces, scary I wonder if it's the same??

      bodyshop help

I have the same problem in Honolulu, Hawaii. I have been looking for a bodyshop that is willing to take my 67 Camaro in for finish bodywork for about two years now. I have replaced all the rusty panels, and so on but no one is willing to take it. I did get one quote for $10,000 body and paint, but that is just crazy. What happened with people who have love for cars?
Anyone know of a compitant bodyshop in Honolulu?
