Hi.... Lately I have been seeing posts regarding rims being widening and such, so what about backspacing? Can for example you change a 15x10,4.5bs to a 5.5 bs..or take a 15x8 with5.5bs and change it to 4.5?

I will need to decrease my backspacing in order to fit my brake package (what I get for ordering wheels before brakes!!!), and Weldcraft said that they could weld an aluminum spacer to the wheel to decrease my backspacing. I happen to have a set of 1.25" adapters, so I will machine them to the exact thickness and nail my backspacing perfectly. The overall cost to widen my wheels by 1" and adjust the backspacing is equal to the cost of 1 wheel.
