Hello!

I'm overhauling a 8,5" Nova rear for my 69' Camaro.

After sandblasting I noticed an oil surface at the area where the axle tubes are pressed in the diff. case and at the welding spots of the diff case to fix the tubes.

I saw that, for example Moser, weld the tubes all around to the diff. body.

Is this possible without any delays of the axle tubes or anything else?

I read an article about a rear end shop that Mig welded the tubes to the center section. Normally I'd think you'd use a nickel rod, but Ni rod is not that easy to use. I tried the Mig welder and it worked very well.
