ttII question
anyone with 18"x8" ttII wheels, would you happen to know offhand what the clearence is from the back of the spoke to mounting face of the back of the wheel. Need to know what kind of spacer I may need to clear the brakes I want to use and then determine my offset.

With an 18" wheel you shouldn't need to worry about any brake clearance problems. What size brakes are you using?
04-05-2006 #3I dont know if thats the right way to go about measuring for wheels. I have TTII's 17x8's all around with 4.75 backspacing. I would say there is less than 1/2" difference and thats just at the middle of the spoke. What kind of brakes are you planning on running and that may be a better way to figure out what you need. I am running 4 piston wilwoods in the front and 97's in the rear.

I was planning on running bear brakes extreme plus with a fourteen inch rotor. The caliper is 1.229" away from the hub face.I think TT2 wheels have 1" of clearance but would like to know for sure . Can wheels be ordered with custom dimensions in this area?Do manufacturers list this spec anywhere? What wheel offers the most caliper clearance from your experiance?
