Looking for a good Autox, track day tire?

I am looking for a good autox and track day tire that will not cost me an arm or leg. I have thought about a set of Falken 615's. That way I can run them on the street. But I just bought a set of Falken 451's last year before I found out about the 615's:doh: . I will probably be running this set of tires on a 17x8 steel wheels. What do you guys recommened? Should I go ahead and buy the 615's and sell the 451's. Or just get a set of r-compound tires? Thanks Andy

RT-615's or Advan's seem to be the hot ticket with the EVO an STI crowd. They should work wonders for you. But there is no cheapie track tire really. You get what you pay for. The most economical are Kumho's. But you will eat up any true track tire very quickly.
