Hello all, i've been lurking a little.
I am active duty air force, and on my way to england. I own two cars, one a 1984 Grand Marquis coupe, andd an 87 crown vic coupe.
I have been in the expirimental stages of the Crown Vic/Grand Marquis chassis (the "panther" chassis) since 2001. When I graduated high school, I did a year of automotive school, but my real expirience comes from doing what i fell I do best, hot rodding.
My Mercury coupe, which I have owned for two years, I am constantly wondering what I am going to do with it. So far, since I am leaving the country for a couple years, I plan on dropping a worked 1970 351C-4V into it, with a Tremec TKO.
I already have 3.73 gears. Suspension mods include a rebuild with 98-02 Crown Vic parts.
My big concerns are how to lower this tank, and what wheel/tire combo to run. I want a black/gunmetal wheel, at least 17"...
Thanx for a cool forum about the g-machine, which is one of my favorite looks of all time!!!
