      Precision Brakes

Just wanted to share my experience with PB. These guys know what's going on with our hobby/car building style. I told Laramie what brake and car combo I'm putting together and he knew exactly what lines to put together for me. All the proper lengths and fittings. Try calling another supplier asking for brake lines for Vette front /4th gen. rears on a 1st gen car. The guy will likely say it can't be done and hang up on you. This probably just reinforces what many of you already know, but for anyone looking to upgrade brakes, CALL Precison.

I agree. I had a great experience with Precision Brakes Company too. Laramie is not only a great salesperson, but he really knows what he's talking about and can actually walk you through an install. Very cool.

Funny i've had all the same experiences with them. Laramie even convinced me to let them create a 14" front and rear brake kit for my project. What's worse is he said that he didn't mind spending my money.

There a great group of Guy's and Brie is also wonderful to work with. We're also talking about my next project for the 06 power tour. I just have to find the time to build the low buck challenge truck.

I have just had my first dealings with Laramie. He is quite knowledgable and doesnt mind talking shop, even though I only bought about $100 worth of parts.

I give them a thumbs up so far.

My first kit was held up for a 6 weeks before we figured out that it was my fault, I who forgot to sign the brake/wheel fitment templet. But the minute they received my approval then they went balls to the wall on the kit and got it to me ASAP.

i dunno if you guys remember the pay-it-forward thread right before christmas, but laramie was going to hook me up with a set of stock replacement brake pads for my formie. Well, when he got back to see if they were on the shelf, all he had was a set of $80 buck carbon-kevlar pads.

Yeah he sent them out for free to me anyway, and then walked my stupid butt through a potential future brake setup for my car even though i was virtually clueless on what i wanted.

very awesome. I plan to do as much business with them as I can in the future!

Ok. Dumb question. I have briefly visited their site a few times. Do they sell Wilwood AND their own brand? Apparently not enough to pay attention and retain what I saw though.

What is the difference between theirs and say, Baer or Wilwood. I had a set of Baers, but sold them because I didnt want the dropped spindles. I noticed on their site that theirs have the dropped spindles, and didnt give it a second look. If they make their own brand, then maybe he can work something up for me with the drop.
