I would like to run 17" wheels on my 1968 Camaro with Baer Track 13" discs on all corers and stock suspension, but every dealer I ask says the 17" wheels will not fit( caliper clearance I think). Could anyone with this car/brake setup let me know what 17" wheels you are running (Front bs 4.75", Rear bs 5.50"). Thanks for the help.

I am running 17" wheels on my 68 Camaro with Baer Track 13" rotors on the front and 12" rotors on the rear. I have Wheel Vintique Billet Rallye wheels which are 17 x 8 with 4.75" backspace.

Doesn't the track kit use c4 PBRs? Woody out of curiosity what tire size in the front? sorry for the partial post high-jack! SS

Many 17 rims will fit and some won't over the 13" Baers. What rims are you looking to run? I know I ran into a similar problem when ordering my Budniks.

Yes they use PBR calipers and I believe you are right that the track kit uses the C4 PBRs. I would not take my word for it though. My front tires are 245/45/17.

I'm running C4 13" brakes in a 16" Vintage Wheel Works rim with a 1/4" spacer. It all depends on the rim spokes. They need to be curved, not straight (over simplification).

I'm running 17x9's w/5.25" backspace on the front and 17x13's w/7.25" backspace on the rear of my Elky. Brakes are Baer's Track 13" fronts and Touring 12" rears. Calipers are C4/ZR-1 PBR's. Plenty of room.
