Do the mods to the hinges and put 68 doors on and you will end up with what you want. It is a bit of work to do but many have done it.

The way the 67 frame is made and the vent window notching makes it difficult to do to make it look right. 68 doors work with mods to the hinges and if you have good 67 doors you can get sell them for enough to get 68 doors. Goodmark I believe makes a whole door assembly now? I could beeeee wrong but if they aren't 68 doors can still be found and it will work out better in the long run.
I personally like the vent windows but to each his own. They add more weight but they look nice and you really can feel the difference on a hot day when you open them up. But being old and remembering the days might make me biased. Most hated it when they disappeared but most didn't have ac as an option in their car either.

I still don't know if I will put air in my car but I will still like my vent windows.

like on my skylark the vent window just unbolts and you cant even tell it was there except the tracks on the inside. it would be easy to convert but there is no single pane to fit it and would have to be custom made and a new front track hand built wich you may be able to modify the 72 track
ive seen that done on a chevelle just figure camaros are the same
