I say do it, I plan to run the same size tires and wheels plus 1. In other words 19s and 20s on my camaro like prodigy. Search for prodigy on here and maybe a few pics of it will come up from sema.

Hey James, Sweet looking car, I have an 83 Malibu Wagon that I am looking to put a set of rims on. I was wondering what the ones on your car in the picture are. What size and backspacing are you running because it has an awesome looking stance. Everyone seems to have a different opinion on what you can fit on these G-Bodies........Thanks

The 275/40/19 may be a tad on the tall side. I would compare it side by side with a 295/35/19 with that front tire. You would need to increase the rim width to ten inches.

well the 19's are going to go on my 99 2wd blazer, so i was kinda hoping to have a little sidewall and i dont think a 10inch wide wheel will fit, there arent many tire companies that make tires for 19's and sizes are kind of limited(at least from what ive found) i may just run an 18x9 out back, im not sure yet. thanks for the input so far though!

they're Budnik M5 fatlip's, 18x8 up front(5inch backspace) with a p245/40r18 tire, 18x9 in rear (4.75backspace) p275/40r18 tire. they fit perfect, dont rub up front at all.

Thanks James, I appreciate the info on the rims. Right now I only have 15x7's on the car but I am planning on putting about $10,000.00 into the car within the next few months. I'm going to do rear discs, complete Hotchkis suspension including sway bars, rims and tires. I want to run an Air Ride Technologies kit so do you think I would be better to run 18x8's all the way around with a 4.5 backspacing so that I can set down with the air out of it. I also want to run a new LS motor in it but just not sure whether I want to get into all the work to change it until next winter. It has a 350 in it now with a mild cam, headers, pete jackson gear drive. I have a 3:73 8.5 Grand National rear end for it that I will put in when I do the brake and wheel upgrade. I enclosed a pic which I modified the rims and brakes on just to see what it will look like.....Thanks James
