19" on a 63 nova

What do you guys think about 19x8 and 19x10's on a 63 Nova Ragtop,
I have available to me a set of 19s but I think they are going to be to big for my car. I originally was going to order 18's. anyway heres a pic.

Those are great looking wheels, but in my opinion 18" would be more proportional to the Nova, since it's a smaller car.

I agree...19's would be a little to much.

I would be more worried about the 8" wide wheels up front.... frame clearance and wheel opening clearance, etc.

I think I will go with 18's instead. As far as 8s in the front. they will fit. I already have a set on the car now. Remember it is a different front clip.

Cool wheels, but proportionally I agree they would be too big. It is your car so do what you want.

Sorry I disagree....there is a yellow drop top 65 running around omaha nebraska rolling on 18's 20's looks killer, just need to open up the wheel wells a bit in the back....NO FEAR

I have a 62' it will wear 18's and 20's two if I ever get my chevelle finished! :secret:
