I have a Mega Shifter, I like the low profile look.
      The lever doesn't bother me.

I have exp w/ both. The Mega shifter just works better. I hate having to lift the stick and have had buddies have theirs stick if the car sits too long. Funniest thing you will ever see is someone trying to use both hands to pull up un a shifter. Looks like they are trying to pull the trans through the tunnel!

Megashifter! I made a custom console panel for mine to fit with my 69 console, with the T handle and line-lock button it just kicks! Looks factory and similar to a manual shifter. Initially I had people try to persuade me to the Quicksilver- Iam estatic I didn't. Better looks and performance.

hammer, bite the bullet its a better shifter. ALL my friends have run the megashifter and hated them. they wobble side to side. i never had one, we've all switched to either pro ratchets, hammers, or a pro stick
pardon me, ill answer the question at hand, megashifter definetly over the quicksilver.

My Megashifter has a little, very little, play from side to side but I don't even notice it. Some of the play mentioned above maybe due to the sheet metal it is attached to- in that case you can add a reinforcing plate to the base. Just MHO.

oh yeah, i'd take a megashifter over a z-gate any day. hell i'd run a stock shifter before id buy a z-gate. and for 80 bucks, you cant beat that deal. dave, i thought the play was due to the mounting too, but it wasnt. i dunno, b&m says its normal. but i bought the hammer and its solid as a rock.

pretty sure youve gotta use the b&m stuff, its only one bracket though. alot simpler i believe.
