I have a 1970 Buick GS455 that feels like the rear end is floatingor slow to react when I turn the wheel left or right slightly like warming the tires. I feel it more at higher speeds around 70 MPH. The rear lower control arms are curretrac and rear uppers are adjustable curretrac. The shocks are QA1 single adjustable coil overs with 170# springs. The rear end is a quick performance 9". The tires are Nitto 285/40ZR-18 NT555. Can someone explain how or if this is fixable.

Thanks

Corey

I assume you've already checked to make sure all 4 control arms / bushings are tight with the car up in the air.

Are you running a rear sway bar?

I agree. I would make sure that all of the bushings in the control arms and rear end housing are in good shape and tight.
