      Idler arm for ridetech truturn

      Hey guys,

      I have a 67 Camaro with ridetech's truturn system and I think I have the wrong idler-arm.
I'm using a my stock '67 idler and I think thats the wrong one. My center link is not quite parallel with the ground.
Can anyone please confirm wich one I do need.
Mailed ridetech last week but they didn't answer.
      Thanks in advance!
      Peter

Did some research and now have even more questions. Does ridetech make 2 different center links for first gen camaro's?
One with a larger hole for the 67 idler (one year only) and one with a slightly smaller hole for 68/69?
This would explain why there could be a mismatch in idler arms as they also have different pin-taper diameter.
Anyone from ridetech that can clarify this?
I have a 68-idler on order (proforged 102-10008), as soon as I get it I can measure the difference and report back.

Any of the year range idler/pitman arms will fit the TruTurn drag link tapers but you need to make sure that you're using a 67 idler along with a 67 pitman or a 68-69 idler along with a 68-69 pitman. There are differences in the power/manual components spline counts and also in the lengths. You don't want to mix and match different year pieces because the drag link won't sit parallel with the crossmember.

There is alot of good information in this link from Pozzi about the differences in these parts: https://www.pozziracing.com/camaro_s...g.htm#Steering

Sorry we haven't made it to your email yet! We get a few hundred emails in that inbox every couple of days so the response times get a little slower sometimes. Let me know if you need anything else!
