Looks great, it's going to be killer. That's going to be a lot of fun to drive. I've been learning about the 8hp lately, it makes a pretty trick setup. What heads are you running on your Cleveland? There's some voodoo in the original-style, open chamber heads, but they can fly.

Thanks for the reply. The heads are Speed Master 3V. The Intake is also Speed Master and is a dual quad but also they sell a plate to bolt on for a 6/71 Blower.

Hardcore Cleveland fans will insist the original open chambers are a great design, the key to the motor, but it says a lot to me that the entire industry abandoned that concept shortly after Ford put it on the road. I think it'd be fun to build a Cleveland, or even a 400, but I feel like quench heads such as the 3V are the way to go.

Forged 408 kit is next after the trans so I can throw some boost at this beast. It's currently a flat top with 62cc chambers and the 4V valves. With the raised ports, it has much more potential.

Update, I've had the trans in for a few days and have most everything dialed. Let me start by saying this is the best upgrade I have ever made to a vehicle hands down. Turbo Lamik sales and customer support is hands down the best I've ever seen. The sales guy remoted into my laptop and downloaded all the software and updates and programmed the transmission to work. All I had to do was wire everything up including the two can wires. Trans brake works right off the bat. You just press the drive button, then the next button that looks like a gate shifter and then hold back on the DCT shifter with your foot on the brake, then let go of the brake and give it as much gas as your wallet can stand and when you let go of the shifter it launches hard. It automatically starts out in 2nd gear because 1st gear is useless unless you have like 279 gears or something. I had my truck dynoed at 320whp with the C6 3 speed trans. This 8 speed has turned it into a beast. It spins through 2nd and when I grab 3rd it goes sideways, then breaks the tires away again in 4th. and 5th. It's like the engine gained a couple hundred HP. I will say the C6 probably has a burnt up forward clutch which is why it only made 320whp. It was done by 5,500 rpm but my cam goes to 6,500 and it revved out to 6,900. This trans swap is a nobrainer for anyone wanting full control over their trans and unbeatable performance.

I found the exact size cushy stickers on Amazon that fit the recess in the shifter knob. They have a bunch to choose from for different makes and models.
