Thought I'd share the 3D printed covers I made for the roll cage as it goes thru the package tray - this is a 69 Camaro project I'm currently working on. They're slightly larger than the tubing and slip into place before the cage goes in.

So, these look great, but something to consider before finalizing it: what material are you using and is it UV resistant? That area is going to see a lot of sunlight and certain plastics will not do well in that application. You could paint them, but as the paint breaks down, that area will be a royal pain to try to repaint without removing glass.

would be cool if these were split down the middle allowing installation or removal after the bar is installed.
Maybe a ship lap joint you could glue together or something like that

It's a high temp UV resistant resin - I don't have the resin spec handy, did it at work. But, I thought about that and if it fails over time I'll cut it off and design another one that is split. The car doesn't see a lot of sun by any means, I guess time will tell.

Yes, next step would be to create a 2 part snap together and then the following step is to offer it covered in alcantara. Just kidding, they look great!

Hey....thanks. Actually, I've been working on that split part design that would glue together. Might be a while before it's done, I'll follow back up with some pics when I have something.
