<!--StartFragment-->I started a full teardown to the bare frame on my 1964 Chevrolet C20 my kids named STEEVE about 8 years ago. The plan was to make STEEVE look like an old shop truck on the outside, but everything under the skin would be updated, replaced, or re-finished. So lots of powder-coating, epoxy, paint, all the vehicles systems replaced (Cooling, Electrical, Suspension, Audio, Braking, Drivetrain) and then there was the shopping for wheels...
Now I wanted to find an 18, 19, or 20" wheel that would look good, be street oriented, and have decent street tire options available. Low and behold nearly everything I kept finding was off-road-centric. I didn't want any of that. I did find a set of custom billet aluminum 22x9" (0 offset) wheels that were 8-lug and could fit on a full-floater axle hub. These wheels are heavy, but they were more street style, fit the truck and the best part was the price that I got them for. But I was really not looking for a 22" wheel, and I also don't want to pay $3k a piece to have someone make me a custom wheel. The other downside is, there are only 4 of these wheels... no extras. Something happens to one, well, so much for that!
So anyone out there know of any manufacturer that makes a 18" to 20" diameter wheel in 10" to 12" widths (I want to run staggered 19x10 front and 20x12 rear) that is 8x6.5 lug pattern that would fit on a GM 14bolt rear axle hub (rear axle is from a 2003 2500HD)? Really would like to see more options, and I am not really interested in 'steelies' or 'delrays'.<!--EndFragment-->
