Does anyone know if such an animal exists? For my project we're going to need to lower the steering rack a couple of inches and we'll need to lower the steering arm on the spindle arm to match. As you can see here it comes out in line with the hub assembly, and I need one that will put it 2 to 3 inches lower. I'd prefer one that is not a drop spindle as the ride height is being built to where I want it with stock parts. It can be adjusted if necessary but I'd prefer that not be needed.

Yes, aftermarket companies like Hotchkis, Speedtech, and UMI offer C5 Corvette spindle arms with dropped steering arms or adjustable steering arms that can accommodate your needs.

Interesting. Where did the billet pieces come from?

The image is from this thread I found via google:

I’ve seen a number of bolt on arms, mostly from companies using the OE knuckle and making a steering arm to fit their design.

None of these companies make this. Does anyone know where those dropped arms came from?

Roadster shop, DSE, Morrison all have some version of that steering arm. I would be surprised if any of them will sell the just the arm but their (RS and DSE) spindles/uprights should be a direct fit for the OPs application.

Thanks. I'll take a look and see what they're willing to do. At the moment, the plan is for the shop to use the existing spindles, chop off the steering arms and make a set to bolt on. They've done this a few times in the past, but it's always better to use a built for purpose part than a modified part.
