The new Vintage Air Gen V is pretty nice.

I have installed roughly 20 Vintage Air systems, never an issue.

I've had my Classic Auto Air system on the car since ~2008. Still going strong... and that was before they have the computerized versions they have now.

But the mechanical parts of the system have been extremely reliable.... the evaporator, condenser, expansion valve, etc... The only I thing I did different was get the kit w/o the SD5 compressor and put in a FLX7 SD7. Puts out a ~38-40F deg air out the vents on a typical high-80's, low 90's day.

Can you explain your controller more? Something like that will look good in my restomod.

Vintage air controller is basically 3 10ohm pot’s, these days rather than using a mechanical pot I built a controller that uses a digipot and control it with a touch screen.

How much do they cost to make roughly?

I’m all in on my controller about $300 for parts, however I didn’t stop at Vintageair controller, I kept going and added Dakota digital controller, tire pressure monitor, and more, here take a look:

about 300$ parts, it was the hours of trial and error and assembly where the real cost is however, but with mine didn’t stop at Vintageair, added Dakota digital controller, tire pressure monitor and more, take a look.
