      Aftermarket ABS

Has anyone run the Continental RSX or Bosch M5 ABS? The RSX sounds more user friendly to make adjustments in the software but looking for some feed back from actual users.

The Bosch unit is used by many IMSA teams. I have had years of working with it. The logic software is closed but there are adjustments that can be made. In addition there are 10 driver adjustable settings. This is not a cheap solution but a very good one. I have no experience with the Conti.

Bosch adjustable settings are pretty good enough for what most needs.

If you are looking for use on a track car, I'd recommend checking to make sure the system doesn't have problems going into ice-mode from users too.

The Bosch motorsport setups work fantastic but are big bucks, I've messed with 2 of them, 1 on a track car and 1 on a street car.

Had no idea Continental offered a standalone unit now, that's nice there's another option... but still quite expensive.

For street cars that don't necessarily need on the fly map switching, you might consider a Continental / Teves Mk60 unit that has been reflashed with the motorsports software and your vehicle specs. Not only does the motorsport software remove ice mode, but it allows for the car to get a little bit closer to the edge before ABS kicks in. The reflashed MK60s are limited to only 1 map so if you're chasing the quickest lap times in all conditions it may not be perfect or as adjustable as the Bosch M5 or Continental RSX units, but for a multi-use street car or even a more budget oriented track car they work great and are quite reasonably priced.

I've put one Mk60 setup in someone else's car and it worked amazing, and I have one on the shelf already reprogrammed for my car ready to go... I just need to get a little further along so I can give Doug harness measurements so he can make my harness.

I got my Mk60 from Doug at RHT, https://www.rhtmotorsport.com/

Thanks for the replies, it will be a few years down the road before I'm ready to add ABS, just trying to make sure it's worked into the overall plan. I'll be sure to keep RHT in mind
