      LT1 rear brake ?

Hi all, I have what I think is a simple question. I have been offered all the LT1 rear brake parts for cheap. I originally wanted LS1 stuff but this is a good deal. I realize that the E-brake cables are problematic on these. My question is, are they like the older G.M. rear disc's where the E-brake has to be used to keep pads adjusted or can the E-brake be left unhooked with no serious side effects ? I have LS1's for the front. Will I have to use an adjustable proporting valve with this combo. Thanks!

      Later, Murf

The LT1 parking brake does not adjust the pads.

And most likely you will want some kind of proportioning valve in there.
