Curious if anyone here has ran a crankshaft with center counterweights (CCW)?

Calles and Dart are the 2 manufacturers that I am aware of that make these. Allegedly the crank has better stiffness which reduces bearing wear under high loads and rpm. Is it worth a few hundred bucks in additional cost for a 600 hp stroker running up to 7000 RPM? is there any performance benefit?

Personally don't have experience with CCW cranks but this article sheds some light on using it.

With the power you're running are you using a GM LS3 block for your stroker foundation? I would think a aftermarket block though expensive might be a option to consider if the funds allow. Any damage to the thrust bearing main cap? How about for a balancer you're using....... ATI, Fluiddampr?

Maybe check with these guys they would probably be best to advise you since they build a lot of their engine with CCW crankshafts.
