I was talking with Eli over at VWW and he showed me some of the new wheels they just came out with. One is a 17" version of the V48 which has a trans am minilite look to it:

The other is a new style called the V60 it is a 17" gt-40 style wheel:

I saw a green 67/68 ls1 power camaro with similar wheels and it looked real nice. I was set on using CCW classics, but now i'm really liking the 17" V48.

I like the V48 also, I will be using the same style on my 70 Mustang for a Trans Am type theme.

Awsome, I'm glad to see the V48 in a 17" Just wilsh the misses liked them, as I think they would be sweet on the bird.

Those V60's look good as well.

I really prefer the old school race wheel look.

Now we just need those Radir wheels in a 17"!

JanesD that green car was a '69 and was featured in PHR awhile back. There were pictures posted here on one of the forums. I believe the wheels were from Team III in 17x8 and 17x11 with monster 335s on the back (Team III also has a 17" version of the V48 that there is a picture of a blue '69 with the wheels on their website). A real nice car! Bonspeed and Foose are making a modern versions of the V60 but I could swear that Newstalgia had a wheel that looked like the V60 available in 18s but I don't see it anymore. Does anyone remember seeing them?

Yes, it was/is Team III that makes a similar wheel. Any idea of the pricing for the Vintage Wheel Works version?

I was told it would be similar to the other 17" wheels they make.

I dunno about the VWW version. The spoke is a bit too blocky. The original was curved into the center section. I think the TeamIII version is a closer reproduction.
