I am running into the shock mount limiting the rim width to 10 - 10.5" I could easily fit 11.5 if the Ridetech 4 link shock mount was not so far in the wheel well.

Has anyone put 24 inch rim on and let the mount ride in the barrel of the wheel?
What is the largest set up you guys made work?

Thinking 305/25/22 with a 10 or 10.5 rim with 53mm backspacing (4 inches)

22 or 24 on a first gen is pretty much unheard of here…. Most run 18 or 19….

10 is pretty much max width on a first gen without minitubs unless the ride height is quite high…

Grab a tape measure. What is the measurement from the center of one lower shock mount to the other?

When you say 10-10.5” wheel are you including one inch for the lips? For example a 10 inch wheel measures 11” wide….

275 tire is also pretty much max for a first gen unless the ride height is quite high….

there is a bunch of room for the wheels unless you narrowed the rear end to far
